    • Does the Breckenridge box allow a blower? Do any of your boxes use a blower? I'm trying to replace a wood-burning fireplace insert with gas logs. I like the Empire gas logs, but I want the whole package with a blower to move the heat around if possible. Where can I get exact dimensions of the box to see if it will fit into my existing masonry firebox opening? The best place for me to get a gas line into my firebox is thru the side. Do you have guidelines on the most convenient place to access the gas logs before I drill a hole? Any advice will be appreciated.
      Thanks.
    • The Breckenridge along with the Monessen GCUF series has the ability to add an optional blower. You can go to www.empirecomfort.com or call or email us with your dimensions of you firebox to see which model best fits your application. You would be able to run your gas line through either side - Empire's web site has a PDF file that shows the specs. Also, on our website if you click on the item you're interested in it will take you to a page where you can customize your item, if you scroll down to where you see the Empire accessories logo and click on the logo this will let you add any of the accessories to your order. Thanks for your question.
