Monessen DFX Vent-Free Fireplace System

The Monessen DFX Vent-Free Fireplace System is a complete gas fireplace - a Monessen DFX Firebox with a Triple Play Burner, a set of gas logs, and glowing embers. The firebox can be hooked up with a gas line on either side, and because it's vent-free, installation is much simpler than a vented unit. In addition, the ventless application keeps all the heat in, allowing you to heat your home while cozying up to a real gas fire.

The Monessen DFX Vent-Free Fireplace System includes a Monessen DFX Firebox, Triple Play Burner (22,000 BTU for the 24", 26,000 BTU for the 32"), glowing embers, removable black louvers, black trim, and 18" flex gas line connector. Millivolt ignition is also included, making the fireplace remote-ready.

This fireplace system is available in sizes of 24" and 32", and in natural gas or liquid propane.

We offer several optional features below that will enhance your gas fireplace. Firebrick is necessary for the proper operation of this fireplace, and our cottage clay firebrick is a stylish way to meet that requirement. Then add a blower for maximum air circulation and heating capacity. Replace the standard black louvers with brass ones for an extra touch of style. A Black Face Plate will give the look of a fireplace surround, and a thermostat sensor will give you the ability to automatically regulate the temperature of your room using your gas fireplace.
