Monessen DIS 33G Vent-Free Fireplace Insert

The Monessen DIS Vent-Free Fireplace Insert is a great way to reinvigorate your old masonry fireplace. This gas fireplace insert fits most standard masonry fireplaces - an opening of 33" W x 24" H is required. With a burner rated up to 28,000 BTU, the Monesse DIS insert has more than enough power to keep you nice and cozy during those cold winter months.

The Monessen DIS Vent-Free Fireplace Insert comes standard with a DIS firebox, Triple Play Burner rated up to 28,000 BTU (with millivolt on/off switch and variable flame height control), Monessen Charred Timber Gas Logs, 18" flexible connector, deluxe control panel, fixed safety screen, junction box for electrical hookup and a thermostatically controlled blower (the thermostat is an extra add-on) and glowing embers.

Check out our optional accessories below for that finishing touch to your gas fireplace insert. Polished Brass Louvers are available to replace the standard black ones. We offer both a large and small Black Face Plate with Brass Trim, as pictured in the product image. Both of these face plates fit the fireplace - the larger one simply provides a thicker frame around the fire. Adding a thermostat option to your insert allows you to control the temperature in your room automatically.
